Final matt coat applied, canopy fitted and some minor touch ups done to complete the Werner Molders 109. The overall wash effect came out about as i good as i could hope for with a first attempt. The leading edge weathering was some dry brushing with a mix of silver and the RLM colours. First up a pic of her in the photo booth and the underneath.
The underneath i feel could have been a bit less on the weathering as like i said earlier, i was a bit heavy handed with the wash. The top and sides i am rather pleased with.
And finally a comparison to Hasegawas FW109A8 in 1/48 scale, The detail in the rivets and lines is much more apparent in the Eduard kit and of course the wash brings these to the fore. The 190 received very minor weathering as at that stage i was still too worried to attempt a full wash. It does show how much more delicate the 109 was compared to a 109.
